Home Check our licence register

Licensing authorities are required to keep a register containing a record of all Personal Licences, Premises Licences, Club Premises certificates and Temporary Events Notices issued within their borough.

The register shows current applications as well as historical information.

Who is the service for?

Anyone can access the public service register.  Simply click on the link shown on the alcohol, entertainment and late night refreshment page.  It couldn't be easier, and you won't be required to register or enter any log in details.

How can I use the service?

The information can be inspected from Monday to Friday (with the exception of bank holidays) at the offices of the London Borough of Redbridge, Perth Terrace, Ilford, Essex, IG2 6AT -- between the hours of 10 am and 12 noon -- and from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Copies of entries can be obtained subject to the payment of a fee.
The information is also available free of charge, including current applications, the hours premises can open and their conditions in the online public register.

How can I find out the opening hours of my local pub and whether it is allowed to provide entertainment?

You should follow the link to the online public register and select 'Search for licences'. Select the licence type (Alcohol - Premises Licence) and enter the name of the premises (you may need to include 'The') in the relevant field. Then search. When the results are displayed click view details for a full list of the conditions.
