The Flu Pandemic

A pandemic is an epidemic of infectious disease, spreading
through human populations across a large region, or even worldwide.
It results from the emergence of a new disease strain to which
human populations have limited or no immunity.
Swine flu was the most recent pandemic to affect the UK and
while it caused many deaths in 2009, the impact was less than first
feared. The potential impact of a future pandemic could still be
catastrophic however - it continues to be one of the highest
risks to the UK.

preparing yourself, your family and your business for a
pandemic.
