eProcurement
The London Borough of Redbridge has installed the Agresso
Business World Procurement module as our electronic procure to pay
(P2P) system, developed to support trading between the Council and
their suppliers. The Puchasing function is fully integrated
with the Accounts Payable and General Ledger systems.
This system has been installed to streamline our transaction
processes by using an electronic system for the majority of our
purchases. This will enable us to standardise our P2P
process, leading to a reduction in ordering errors, speedier and
more accurate payments and enhancing future collaboration with our
suppliers.
eTendering
The Council, along with other London Boroughs, is currently
piloting the ProContract eTendering system, managed by
DueNorth. It is intended that this will be used for all
procurements with a value above £20,000. This enables all
stages of the procurement process to be completed electronically,
including the submission of all pre-qualification and tender
documents. Organisations interested in working with the
Council should register on the suppliers' site London Tenders
Portal which will allow them to view current opportunities.
Please note: This is a pilot scheme at present
therefore it is not guaranteed that all procurements will be
tendered through the system in the future.
