Help to live independently
Most of us want to live independently and remain active as
possible, but many people need some help and support.
I
f you want to stay at home but are
finding it difficult, we can provide a range of
services to support your independence.
Alternatively, you can arrange these services for yourself
through our self directed support
scheme.
How do I get help?
To find out if you can receive any of these services, we need to
carry out an assessment of what your needs are and the needs of any
family members (carers) who provide care for you.
The services we provide are only available to people who are
assessed as needing a service. For an assessment, contact the
Community Care Advice Centre.
Services we offer
Do I have to pay?
The cost of the service will depend on your personal
circumstance and this will be discussed with you once a financial
assessment has been carried out.The financial assessment will
look at your income and savings and the type of service you
need.
We need to ask for financial information so that your
contribution is at an amount you can afford to pay.
